At full speed …
Sledging is really great fun you should not miss out on during your stay in Kaprun. In the gorgeous surrounding mountains you will find a wealth of exciting sledge runs: for example, the natural “Guggenbichl” track in Kaprun or the “Kohlschnait” run in the village of Bruck. Both sledge runs are floodlit at night. At the breathtaking “Maisiflitzer” toboggan run on the slopes of “Maiskogel” mountain you are welcome throughout the year to enjoy sledge rides at breakneck speed. If you are seeking even more thrills, you should visit the “Naglköpfl” Adventure Mountain in Piesendorf, which provides numerous fun activities for the whole family, such as snow-tubing and sky-gliding.
Fun on Slippery Grounds
During the cold winter months, the Lake “Zeller See”, surrounded by a marvellous winter scenery, is often completely frozen and becomes a real paradise for ice-skating enthusiasts. The view of the icy expanse induces guests of all ages regardless of the personal ability to strap on the ice skates and try their hand on the slippery ground. And if it is not so cold, you can enjoy ice-skating at the indoor ice rink in the town of Zell am See.
