In Zell am See, the Koehlergraben toboggan run with a length of 1.5 km is available especially for family tobogganing trips. It is best to find out about the toboggan bus on site. You can take the toboggan bus to the starting point of the toboggan run every Tuesday in winter.
The famous year-round toboggan run Alpine Coaster Maisi Flitzer with a length of 1.3 km is located in Kaprun. This toboggan run provides an adrenaline rush, no doubt. Things get down to business quickly here – you can reach speeds of up to 40 km/h with the Maisi Flitzer.
Tobogganing action on 14 km in Bramberg
1,300 meters in altitude and 14 km in length – this is the longest floodlit toboggan run in the world! You can take the Emerald Railway from Bramberg to almost 2,100 meters above sea level. Up there, the adventure begins during the day or by floodlight. If you don’t own a toboggan, you can easily rent one from a toboggan rental shop in Bramberg or Neukirchen. The last ascent with the Smaragdbahn is possible at 4:15 p.m. (on Fridays until 6:30 p.m. if the weather is suitable). Go tobogganing
with a tractor
The toboggan run on the Kohlschnait in Bruck an der Großglocknerstraße is also illuminated in the evening – until midnight. The adventure begins at Gasthof Kohlschnait. You can reach the inn on foot or by tractor via an illuminated road. Book the tractor ride up in advance if you don’t want to walk. Up to 40 people can fit in the tractor at the same time. Once at the top, let yourself be pampered with culinary delights before you go 3 km downhill on the sledge. You can rent a sledge practically on site.
