After a breathtaking day on the mountain, there is nothing better than refreshing yourself in the pool. This is very easy in our 4-star hotel in Kaprun: you can do laps in the 25-meter outdoor natural swimming pond or take a leisurely swim in the shorter indoor pool (12 meters long). If you want something quieter, you will find a whirlpool in the garden and in the hotel. Dive into the cool water of our wellness area!
Refresh with fresh mountain water: The entire hotel as well as all drinking fountains and the indoor swimming pool are supplied with the best Kaprun spring water using the original Grander technology.

Water temperature
The water temperature is 26 °C in summer and 28 °C in winter – if you want it even warmer, you should reserve one of our romantic hot tubs under the starry sky.
Indoor pool for swimming pleasure
o matter whether you want to start the day actively, spend it relaxing or end it in an atmospheric way: just swim a few lengths in our modern indoor adventure pool:
- With a size of 12x6m it is suitable for sporty swimming. With the countercurrent system it’s twice as much fun.
- The old wood and the pictures on the wall (all personally photographed by host Sepp) give the indoor area a very individual character
- From the pool you have a view of the grape arbor and the hotel garden. Via the latter you can reach the swimming pond area and the alpine hut outdoor sauna.
Did you actually know that Kaprun’s first indoor swimming pool existed in Falkenstein in the 1960s? That was a very long time ago, but the high standards have not changed since then!

Crystal clear water awaits you in the sporty natural outdoor pool in the garden, without any chlorine. Here you can do laps in the 25 meter pool and really work off your energy. No matter what time of year – the natural swimming pond is always a highlight:
- In spring and summer you can balance along the slackline, swing over the water or simply relax in the hammock.
- In autumn and winter we use the pond for ice bathing and as a very short way to cool off after the alpine hut sauna.
There is often something going on around the swimming pond in the evening: the cozy fire snail with the crackling fire ensures relaxing moments. People like to sing and play the guitar here… Drinks can of course be taken from the bar into the garden! You can also rent the fireplace exclusively for you and your friends for a cheese fondue or chocolate fondue under the starry sky with a crackling campfire. Well, doesn’t that sound good?
