After an active day in the mountains, it’s time to satisfy your appetite at Restaurant Federspiel, the cozy restaurant inside the 4-star Hotel Falkenstein in Kaprun. Every day, our kitchen team prepares fresh regional specialties with great attention to detail and a seasonally changing menu.

Start your meal with a warming soup, a crisp salad, or one of our colorful bowls. For a big appetite after hiking, enjoy hearty Austrian classics such as grilled skewers, schnitzel, steak, or tender braised venison – “Simply delicious!”

Our pan dishes are also among our guests’ favorites. A special highlight is our Swiss-style cheese fondue for two or more, served with savory sides to share. Or try the Tartarenhut, a fun and social table-grill experience. In our Feuerschnecke, the cheese fondue is even served over an open campfire – rustic, cozy, and truly unforgettable.
