History

Kaprun has an old sporting tradition. The earls of Falken-stein were indulging in falconry and hunting in the ´Walde zu Caprun´ (Kaprun Forest) from as early as the 12th century. The "Falkenbachwand" behind our hotel and the falcon in the armorial bearings of Kaprun are reminders of those times.

Since 1982, Joseph and Mary operate Nindler Sporthotel Falkenstein and by ongoing renovation and expansion work, our hotel a happy visited address in our sporting region.

In September 2007 we were with our friends and our many regular guests 25th-anniversary celebration, and apologize once again for us the proven loyalty to our hotel very sincere thanks!
